Comment: The DVD transfer was made from a 35mm print of the restored version, which fitted the 70mm-Frame into the 2.35:1-Ratio by adding black mattes on the sides. On the DVD-Transfer the mattes were eliminated by stretching the picture to the sides of the 16:9-Frame instead of slightly zooming into the image to preserve the correct aspect ratio. The 1994 Laserdisc was taken from a 70mm print and displays the correct image geometry.
